The Coming Out Ball: Peter Pan

AFYT sponsored the production of Peter Pan for the inter-collegiate Coming Out Ball, the largest LGBTQ youth event in the city. Taking the story of Peter Pan, Director Randy Jenson, a member of the About Face Young Artist Council, created a drag-narrative to tell the story of the famous fairytale. Much like Moulin-Rouge, the show used contemporary songs to spin a very queer tale about Neverland.

AFYT will re-present the show in February, 2007.

Poonie's Cabaert

AFYT was invited to present new work at Poonie's Cabaret. Performing alongside Choreographer and Dancers, Darrell Jones and Peter Carpenter, AFYT presented a solo-performance (Deja Taylor), a micro-drama (Raina Sun, Liz Toynton, Logan, David Guiterrez) and a dance piece (Brian Coleman & Zavier Hurston).
