About Face Theatre is currently seeking interns for a variety of special projects in the areas of management, marketing, publicity, production, education, and development. Internships are currently available in the following departments (click on the department for a full description):
Interns will be directly involved in the programmatic development of the Youth Theatre. Interns will assist in teaching weekly workshops and producing the monthly open mike series. Interns will also be involved in the development of the script for the next AFYT production.

Interns will be involved in the daily operation of each production and will work directly with the Producer, director and designers on the realization of the production plan. Required skills include familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel, good communication and phone skills, and a valid drivers license.

The Development and Special Events intern will report directly to the Development Director and provide support in all aspects of contributed income development for About Face Theatre. The intern will work 15 - 20 hours per week during regular business hours. Occasional evening event attendance required.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Our ideal candidate has an interest in theatre management, is proficient in MS Office, has the ability to communicate professionally in writing, by phone and in person, has strong research skills and is organized.

About Face Theatre has an opening for a Management Intern. This position reports directly to the Managing Director and assists with all aspects of the management of a mid-sized non-profit theatre company including contracts, finance, meeting preparation, grant preparation, etc.
