"Funny, smart and eminently entertaining. Long may it sizzle." - Chicago Tribune
When PULP premiered at About Face in 2004, the Chicago Sun-Times called it "a playfully sexy romp...the cult hit of the season." A sold-out phenomenon here in Chicago, PULP went on to successful productions across the country. Now, it's back in Chicago by popular demand!
Set in the twilight world of 1950's Chicago, PULP is a deliciously campy homage to the sultry, jazzy world of lesbian pulp fiction. When WAC pilot and WWII vet Terry Logan high-tails it out of the service after a daliance with the general's daughter, she heads for Chicago and The Well, a club for women where the air is filled with steamy torch songs, the spirit of Barbara Stanwyck hovers over the bar, and forbidden lust lurks behind every innuendo.
